Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

On Air, operated by JKULDEV LLC · Effective 12 September 2026

What each thing costs, how renewals work, what the four balances are and which of them can ever be money, and when a refund is due. Part of the Terms of Service.

All payments are taken by Stripe. Card details never reach On Air. Prices are shown in the app before you pay, and the app is the current price list — the figures below describe the shape of each charge.

1. Subscriptions to On Air

PlanWhat it isBilling
Free The catalogue, with advertising—
Premium Every channel, no On Air advertising Weekly, monthly or yearly, recurring until cancelled
Premium+ That, plus choosing the adverts that fill your own channel Recurring until cancelled
Ad-free day No On Air advertising for 24 hours. Tiers differ only in how often you may comment A single charge. It does not renew

One subscription per person, not per store. If you already subscribe through one platform we will not let you subscribe again through another — a duplicate charge for the same thing is not something to discover on a statement.

2. The balances, and which one is money

Three balances hold value, and two scoreboards do not. Only one of the five can ever become money, and it is not one you can buy.

BalanceHow you get itWhat it does Cash value
Gold Coins (GC) Bought with a card. 1,000 GC = $1 Gifts, tips, going live, the voice meter, and backing an outcome where the creator allows it None. Not redeemable for money
Ad funds (advertisers) Loaded with a card Campaign budgets, and nothing else Your own money, held for you. Refundable, less the payment-processing costs already paid on the way in
Earnings (creators) Paid by viewers or by advertising Withdrawn to your bank Real money. See Creator Terms §5
Points Earned by watching. Cannot be bought Backing an outcome None. They cannot be bought either
Channel points Earned by watching one creator That creator’s rewards, and nothing on any other channel None

There used to be a separate “golden coins” balance for backing outcomes, at a different rate. It was folded into Gold Coins, and the rate is now 1,000 to the dollar. Nothing you held changed in value when that happened. The per-creator balance is channel points; it has never been coins, and anywhere you still see that word for it is out of date.

What you WIN can be spent, and can never be sent. This is the line, and it is the one thing in this document to read twice. Winnings from a question land in your Gold Coins and you may spend them on On Air’s own services — going live, a stake, the voice meter. You may not send them to another person: a gift or a tip funded from winnings is refused, because the receiver’s side of a gift is withdrawable earnings. Without that refusal, “win a pool, gift it to a second account, withdraw” would be a cash-out, and two people who know each other is not a sophisticated attack. If a question is cancelled you get back exactly what you staked, carrying exactly the same restriction it came with.

Why this matters and is not bookkeeping. Money in and chance are two of gambling’s three elements; the third is a prize with cash value. Because winnings can never leave as money and a point cannot be bought, backing an outcome on On Air is a purchased or earned virtual currency wagered for more of itself. Open either door and this becomes a licensed product. We will not open them.

2.1 How predictions pay

3. Memberships and supporting a creator

A membership is monthly and recurring, at one platform-wide price on every channel — $4.99 a month. The creator does not set it and cannot change it, which is why it is the same wherever you join and why you only have to learn it once. Support is a single payment. In both cases the creator receives 95% of what arrives after payment-processing costs and On Air keeps 5%.

A membership is what you pay a creator. A subscription is what you pay On Air. They are different payees, prices, splits and scopes, which is why they have different names.

4. Tickets and channel terms

Two things you buy once. Neither renews, neither keeps a card on file, and there is nothing to cancel — when a term ends it simply ends.

A ticket buys one programme. It costs between $3 and $500, it is set by whoever published that programme, and it does not expire: if you bought a match you can still watch the recording afterwards. A ticket is not a subscription and a subscription is not a ticket — an On Air Premium plan does not include ticketed programmes, because a ticket is a purchase of that one thing.

A channel term buys access to a creator’s channel for 1, 2, 6 or 12 months, priced per month by the creator between $3 and $500. The total is simply the months multiplied by the price. Buying again while a term is running extends it from the end rather than from today, so you never lose time you already paid for.

On both, the creator receives 95% of what arrives after payment-processing costs and On Air keeps 5%.

5. Refunds

WhatRefundable?
A subscription period already begun No, unless the law where you live says otherwise — in the UK and EEA your statutory rights apply and we will honour them
A renewal you did not intend, reported promptly and unused Yes. Write to us
An ad-free day already startedNo
Gold Coins, unspent At our discretion, to the card that bought them, where nothing has been spent from that purchase
Gold Coins, spent No. A gift has been received and a stake has been played
A membership or a support payment No — the money has gone to the creator. Tell us if something was wrong and we will look
Anything charged twice, or charged after cancelling Yes, in full, and you should not have to ask twice
Ad funds, unspent Back to the cards that paid them in — see Advertiser Terms

Refunds go back to the card that paid. Money that arrived any other way has no card to return to, which we say plainly rather than leaving somebody waiting for a payment that cannot come.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than with us, the balance or plan it bought is reversed. Please write to us first — almost everything that reaches a bank would have been settled by an email, and a chargeback costs us a fee that a refund does not.

7. Taxes

Prices may have tax added at checkout depending on where you are; Stripe calculates it. Creators are responsible for their own tax on what they earn.

8. Buying inside an app

Where a store requires a purchase to go through its own billing, it does, and that store's refund policy then also applies. Our mobile app shows what memberships cost and does not sell them; digital content consumed inside an app has to go through that store's billing, and taking a card there would be a rejection rather than a risk.
