Privacy Notice
On Air, operated by JKULDEV LLC · Effective 12 September 2026
What On Air collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do
with it. It describes what the service actually does rather than the widest
thing we might one day do — so where something is not collected, it
says so.
1. What we collect, and why
| What | Why |
| Email address and display name |
Your account, signing in, and answering you |
| Full name, username, phone number, date of birth, gender |
Your public profile, and the 18+ gate on channels marked mature. Date
of birth is stored as a date, never as a moment in time |
| Password, as a salted hash only |
Signing in. We never store or see the password itself |
| A random device identifier, kept in your browser or app |
Counting devices, so one account cannot be used as several audiences
at once. A random value we generate — not a fingerprint of your
device |
| What you watched and for how long |
Your place in a programme, the viewer count a creator is paid
against, the watch-time pool paid to creators, the
“Recently watched” list we show back to you,
and ordering what we recommend — the subjects and
creators you spend the most time on are ranked higher in your rails.
Nobody else sees your history, and it is never used to target
advertising |
| Follows, watchlist, predictions, gifts, channel points |
The features themselves |
| Coin, point and earnings balances, and the ledger behind them |
Your wallet, creator payouts, and our accounting obligations |
| Advertising impressions and clicks |
Paying creators their share, and detecting click fraud |
| The country your device reports |
Showing only channels available where you are. It travels with the
request and filters the list; we do not store it against you |
| Reports and copyright notices you file, and any filed about you |
Acting on them, and being able to show that our repeat-infringer
policy was applied |
| If you sign in with Google: your email, name, picture, and whether
the address is verified |
Creating or matching your account. Nothing goes the other way |
| If you broadcast: the stream itself, and your RTMP key |
Transmitting it. See Creator Terms |
What we do not collect
- We do not store your IP address or your browser's user
agent anywhere in our database.
- We do not store card details. Payments go to Stripe and
card numbers never reach On Air.
- We do not store comments. Comment rooms are
peer-to-peer; the server relays the handshake and no message text passes
through it, so there is no transcript to keep, hand over or lose.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell or
rent personal information to anyone.
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels of our own.
2. Our legal bases
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or a similar law applies to you:
| Basis | What it covers |
| Performance of a contract |
Your account, your watch history, your wallet, your
subscription |
| Legitimate interests |
Keeping the service secure, counting audiences honestly, preventing
fraud and click fraud, enforcing these terms |
| Consent |
Optional profile details, and advertising cookies where consent is
required. You can withdraw it |
| Legal obligation |
Payment records, tax records, and the copyright records described in
§6 |
3. Who else sees it
| Who | What they get, and why |
| Stripe |
Your email and the payment itself, for subscriptions, coins, tips and
creator payouts. Stripe is the processor and card details go to them
directly |
| Google — sign-in |
Nothing. Google tells us your email, name, picture and
whether the address is verified, when you choose to sign in that
way |
| Google — advertising |
Free accounts are shown Google advertising, and Google and its
partners may set cookies. See the Cookie
Notice |
| YouTube |
Some channels are embedded YouTube players. When one plays, YouTube
receives the request directly from your device and its own terms and
privacy policy apply to that |
| LiveKit |
Carries the audio and video of live broadcasts |
| Convex, Vercel and Fly.io |
Our database, our web hosting and our stream proxy. They process data
on our instructions and for nothing else |
| Other viewers |
Your display name and what you type in a comment room, directly —
that is what peer-to-peer means. Also your name on a gift you send,
which is the point of sending one |
| A copyright claimant, or the person they complain about |
A notice you file is passed to whoever published the material,
including your name and the statements in it, because they have to be
able to answer it. A counter-notice goes to the claimant, including the
address you give. See the DMCA policy |
| Authorities |
Where we are legally required, and in an emergency involving a risk
to someone's life or a child's safety |
4. Where it is stored
On Air's database and servers are in the United States. If
you are elsewhere, using On Air means your information is transferred there. For
transfers out of the UK and EEA we rely on the standard contractual clauses our
providers offer.
5. Cookies and local storage
Its own document, because it is its own question:
Cookie Notice. In short: On Air stores two things in your
browser — a sign-in token and the random device identifier — and neither is
used for advertising or shared with anyone.
6. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
| Your account and profile | Until you delete it |
| Watch history, follows, watchlist |
Deleted with your account |
| Coin, point and earnings balances and their ledgers |
These survive account deletion, and it is the one
place we cannot simply erase on request: every row is money that moved,
a creator may still be owed a share of it, and a balance with no trail
behind it cannot be audited. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what
is held and why |
| Comments | Never stored in the first place |
| Payment and payout records |
Up to seven years after the transaction, because tax and accounting
rules require it. This survives account deletion |
| Copyright notices, counter-notices and strikes |
While the account exists and for three years afterwards. We have to
be able to show that our repeat-infringer policy was actually applied,
and a record that is deleted cannot show it |
| Conduct reports |
Two years after they are decided |
Deleting an account to clear copyright strikes and signing up
again is the thing that last record exists to prevent.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete
it, or restrict or object to how we use it, and you can withdraw consent where
that is what we relied on. To delete your account, see
Delete your account — there is no self-service
button yet and we do it by hand.
To ask us instead, write to
support@onairlegends.com. We answer within
30 days and we do not charge for it. If you are in the UK or EEA and are not
satisfied, you can complain to your data protection authority. If you are in
California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are
defined there, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a
right.
8. Children
On Air is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything
from one. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us at
support@onairlegends.com and we will delete
it. Channels marked 18+ are gated on the date of birth recorded on the
account.
9. Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
Access to production data is limited to the people who operate the service, and
a session can be revoked. No service can promise it will never be breached; if
one affects you and the law requires us to tell you, we will.
10. Changes
If we change this notice the date at the top changes with it, and we will
tell you in the app before a material change takes effect.
